Despite his religious background and culture, the children only understand they are a secret. But I feel even more sorry for the children who have to witness their mother marry someone who doesn’t fully accept them. I must admit at times I do feel sorry for Mursel, especially since he can barely communicate with anyone. Mursel confronts Anna’s oldest son about his treatment of him.
Things come to a head when Anna takes Mursel and her sons to get fitted for their tuxedos.
